Jao comes into the room, and Behati immediately puts down the camera. She demands to know why Gino is there, and why Han is sleeping on the sofa (and he’s still wearing his suit, lol). Oh, and why does Jao still have that camera? He answers that he hasn’t found the right time to return it, thus tipping off his mom to the fact that he’s seen the girl in the photos again.
It must be tribute time in Yangdon– people line up to greet the king, ask after his health, and offer the best of their harvest. They also take the opportunity to ask about the rumors concerning the rebels– one man worries that the country and culture they love will be destroyed. King Anand takes care to reassure them that it won’t happen.
Behati wants to contact Alicia, Gino’s mom– she has Jao ask Gino to pass on a message to his mother about it. Jao also tells Gino that Behati is looking for a new house for her and Jao, instead of having to maintain two condos for each of them– but in that case, Behati might not want Gino to come along. Gino assures him that it’s okay, he’ll manage.
Bianca goes to see Maddie to ask if she could stay with her for a while, but Maddie refuses– she doesn’t want trouble with her parents, and besides, she’s not an orphanage. Fine friend you have there, Bianca.
Jao, Han and Gino find out about Bianca being missing. Gino tells her not to worry, Bianca must be all right, while Jao wants to call the police and have them look for her. Just then Mikay sees the mean girls and asks them if they know where Bianca is, but they brush her off– she’s the sister, so why is she asking them where Bianca is?
Behati meets with Alicia, and they politely snipe at each other about how the other one looks good. Alicia snarks a bit about Behati being the reason Alicia was removed from her post in the first place (because of that incident when Jao played hooky with Gino, most likely).
Mikay receives a text message from Jao, giving her the day off. He can’t come for lessons, since his mother’s in town. “His mother?” she wonders.
Behati shrugs off the past– that’s been and gone, and besides, she needs Alicia’s help now. She gives Alicia an envelope, saying she needs to find a person. Oh, and by the way, does Alicia know that Gino is staying with her son Jao now? Alicia says that Gino made his choice, like Jao made his own choice by coming here. Behati bristles at the insinuation that Jao was running away from her, and corrects Alicia– the king sent Jao to the Philippines. Alicia snarks under her breath that the poor kid really has no choice, and Behati immediately finds fault with the tea they were served, because it’s not fit for a queen. (Uh, Behati. You are NOT a queen.)
Kiko meets Dindi on the street, and she learns he didn’t get accepted at the audition. She consoles him, “someday there will be one who will want you… a band, I mean.” Ha. He asks why she looks sad, and learns about Bianca running away.
