Laya: I’m still addicted to Princess and I. What is drama obsession. If it matters, this is the first Pinoy drama I’ve gone crazy about in this way.
Alquanna: *grins wordlessly*
Laya: Oh, and here comes the cliche where Behati accuses Mikay of theft. What usually happens after that?
Alquanna: We find out who really are friends?
Laya: In fairness, Jao’s siding with her. With Mikay, I mean.
Alquanna: Usually, that’s what happens, it becomes an “us against the world” drama.
Laya: I don’t know if Behati will really cast Jao out. Sometimes, in other movies/dramas, the son does side with the mother.
Alquanna: I honestly won’t be surprised if she does kick Jao out.
Laya: Plus, she doesn’t know the king is suspecting her of being the leader of the rebels. OMG, when the facts about who’s whose parents, this might suddenly become a Romeo and Juliet story.
Alquanna: Lol, maybe not. Because in Romeo and Juliet, there’s outright hostility if I recall correctly.
Laya: Well, Jao will need to choose between his mom and his loyalty to Yangdon.
Alquanna: And the question will be, how do you define loyalty to the kingdom? If Jao is to be king, he will have to choose the kingdom, period.
Laya: There’s that. His mom might say, Jao, if the rebellion succeeds, you will be king. (Never mind that with or without the rebellion, he might be king anyway.)But
