It’s the most controversial film of Cinemalaya 2012, even if it’s not even considered part of it. MNL 143 – which was controversially disqualified based on its casting choices – will be screened at the UP Cine Adarna/Film Center on August 14, 2012, Tuesday, 8 PM.
MNL 143 is the story of a shuttle driver and his last trip before leaving Manila for the Middle East, intertwined with the stories of his various passengers. Here’s the official trailer of the movie:
