I replied, giving half of the answer; to sum it up, it’s a toxic combination of time constraints (heck, we’re already way behind when it comes to Amaya recaps) and burnout.
So what’s the other half? Personally I don’t think it’s worth recapping anymore. At many points during its first week, all the melodrama, pacing and even the way the story began turned me off; I ended up thinking that there are better ways to spend my time than watch it. It’s a shame, really, since the project was so hyped as the teleserye for dance – this project was even rumored to be the reason why GMA-7 didn’t get the K-drama Dream High, because this was supposed to be a replacement – and yet we get more hysterics than displays of dancing talent.
