Good news for Pinoy movie fans – two more movies from Cinemalaya 2011 will have regular screenings this August.
According to Butch Francisco’s column in the Philippine Star, Ligo Na U, Lapit na Me will be released commercially on August 17. Topbilled by Edgar Allan Guzman as Intoy – who won the Cinemalaya 2011 Best Actor prize – and Mercedes Cabral as Jenny, the movie is about two classmates/regular fuck buddies in a state university.
